Okay, so I’ve heard the first Kanye West joint. I was sworn to secrecy. I’m not allowed to talk about it. All I can say is it is banging. If that’s a taste of what’s coming on the album, he has smacked it. Lyrically….he is saying things like, ‘Wow, he said that?’ It is going to shock everybody, the first record.
Pharrell recently spoke to a French magazine and had this to say:
I had the chance to listen to the new Kanye West album. I think that people are going to be shocked. His precedent was crazy, this new one goes even farther.
Och sen tidigare har Drake haft det här att säga:
“Kanye’s album is going to be one of the best hip-hop albums in the last 10 years.”

Jag känner verkligen hypen. Man vet ju att Kanye textmässigt kan vara en av dem allra bästa just nu. Sen att han försvunnit helt och bara ägnat sig åt musik låter rätt bra. Känns skönt att låter som att det ska bli ett "traditionellt" album. Även om de tidigare har varit bra..
DJ Premier har tydligen också skickat ett par beats till West, samt uttalat sig om albumet.
"His new album is strictly hard beats and rhymes. He’s totally done with electro. You’re gonna be surprised what you hear."

Further, rumors have surfaced that producer Pete Rock is in Hawaii working on the project as well; it is also possible that DJ Premier is involved. More recently it has been reported that outside production will come from RZA and Q-Tip.
Allt ser lovande ut. Hoppas bara inte skivan heter Good Ass Job.
